Poppy was a surprise purchase. I fully believed we were done bringing goats home May 2025 (jokes on me, I purchased 5 more after this thought)… But Poppy’s breeder decided to take a step away from goats, so Poppy and herd mate Miss Daisy joined us over the summer of 2025.
While yes, Poppyis a very flashy doe, with excessive white, wattles, and blue eyes, what really drew me to Poppy how extremely correct this doe is! With correct legs, front end, back, and rump! She has THE WIDEST rump in the herd! Her LA score really surprised me for being in our herd for less than a week and coming from inconsistent milking and less than ideal conditioning.
